New Year- let’s create a vision board

January 4, 2023

So you want a new start for 2023.

If you’ve never created a vision board,I think you’d enjoy this post. In fact, why don’t you create one right now? Technology has made creating one much easier! Don’t worry about not having time or being busy this week. Take a break from Netflix for a few minutes and get started on your vision board today!

Creating a vision board is one of the most effective ways to visualize your goals and make them come true, according to experts. A vision board can help you be more positive and motivated, as well as achieve your goals faster.

The concept behind creating a vision board is simple: It involves choosing images that represent what you want in life, then hanging them up somewhere where you’ll see them regularly (like on your electronic devices or poster board on the wall). By looking at these images every day, it’s easier for our brains to internalize those thoughts and feelings—and ultimately make them come true!

Start by brainstorming your ideal life.

You can use a journal, a computer, or even just a piece of paper to make your vision board. Write down things you want to accomplish and the people you want to spend more time with.

Write down goals that are specific and measurable—things like “I want to be able to run 5 miles without stopping” instead of “I want to lose weight” or “I want my business to be successful.” You should also write down things you don’t want in your life anymore: maybe it’s an unhealthy relationship or bad habits like smoking cigarettes or eating too much junk food.

When making this list, think about what makes you happy and what makes others around them happy as well—the best way for someone else’s happiness is through their own happiness first! This is your opportunity to be as creative as possible! It’s also important that you choose images that resonate with your own personal narrative, so don’t feel like you have to stick with something “traditional.” If a particular image really speaks to you, use it!

Focus on the specific, not the general.

One of the best ways to make sure your vision board is useful and effective is to focus on the specific, rather than the general. You want to be able to visualize exactly what you want and not just some vague idea of what it might look like. The more imaginative you can be the better

Another way that will help keep you motivated is by consistently referring back to your vision board throughout the year. Keep it handy so that when something comes up where you need inspiration or guidance (like when faced with an important decision), you can refer back to it for encouragement and guidance toward reaching your goals!

Don’t be apprehensive to change.

First, don’t be fearful to make changes. A vision board is meant to be a visual representation of our goals and aspirations. It should be fluid, changing with our moods and our circumstances. If you find yourself feeling stagnant in any area of your life, it might just be time for an update on your vision board!

Second, don’t be afraid of actual change. If there’s something that’s not working out in your life right now (or even just something that could work better), it’s okay to make some adjustments. The world is constantly changing around us and we are continously making aadjustments. If you have to rearrange, remove, rewrite some things in your life- do it! It is your life to live and only YOU can make yourself happy in this lifetime first.

I hope that this post has helped you to create a vision board for yourself, or at least think about how to do so.
